Leo Babauta

Discovering Leo's Zen Habits blog was one of the single most life-changing events of my adult life. Seriously.

If you are pushing hard in an overwhelming universe, please let his beautiful, wise, words whisper some calm and sanity into your existence.

His Seachange Course for establishing healthy keystone habits is just awesome.

Merlin Mann

I live for every new podcast Merlin makes, whether it's Roderick on the Line, Back to Work or re-runs of You Look Nice Today.  Seriously, forget rock stars. If I could meet and chat with ANYONE on the planet it would be this guy. (Except I'd just stare at my feet speechless then say something dumb... :/)

I love his writing too which explores the whole 'human condition' thing with such visceral honesty.

I keep returning to this piece in particular "Cranking" when I feel like my whole life is starting to wobble like a stack of plates.

Matt Blick

Matt was one of my treasured discoveries when I completed my very first February Album Writing Month Challenge at FAWM.org. What I hadn't realised is that he also writes one of my favourite songwriting blogs The Beatles Songwriting Academy which lovingly delves into the various techniques that the Beatles used to write songs. He is a great writer, great songwriter, a great musician  and a lovely human too!

Seth Godin

Seth's blog was one of the first I ever subscribed to and now at a time when I am reading less and playing more I am still subscribed and what's more buy every book he writes.

Seth writes about creativity and business with such love and thoughtfulness and I always feel hope for the birth of new models of making a living as an artist.

So many ideas that have become popular cultural themes originated from his pen.
