Bass with Taste'Join Liz Frencham for an exploration of
what it means to be a tasteful accompanist on bass. See a different
perspective from a singer/songwriter whose primary instrument has
always been that oversized monstrosity we all know & love - the
double-bass.' 40's Swing ConcertThe Dream Seat
contains three jazz graduates Liz Frencham (double bass), Clare Jephson
(piano) & Vince Bradley (Trumpet & misc. brass), & they
would make an ideal rhythm section for an evening swing concert in any
respectable festival wine bar. Liz can co-ordinate an array of guest
artists from those booked at any festival & it could even be a fun
& slinky dress-up occasion. She is a veteran of festival theme
nights- having been involved in several Beatles sing-a-longs,
Rock'n'roll out the Barrel at Woodford, Songs From the Mountain
in Fremantle, the Indigo Girls tribute show & a proposed Joni
Mitchell tribute show. Not to mention some great swing jam sessions in
the festival bar!
