This week is the last week I’m accepting pre-sales. From Monday 24th onwards the album will be retailing for the full price of $30 PLUS postage. It's only January the 3rd & already I've got so much news. The most exciting for me is that I've finally started another self produced album. I've had thsi idea for literally years but it's actually happening. An abum of Live in-studio duets. Just two people with their acoustic instruments & voices all mic-ed up together in one room. The most honest album I've ever made, warts & all. Vol. 1 is due out at easter & already includes duets with PJ.Wolf, Doug DeVries & Gilly Darbey. On other fronts the Dev'lish Mary album will arrive next week & the Jigzag Live film footage is being edited as we speak. Fred is also coming over in february to tour, so it's gonna be another big year! ~liz x
I’m kicking back in an armchair in Northern NSW while Steve’s mum bustles around me & I bask in her kindness. Mums are really good at bustling. They seem to be the busiest people on the planet, even when their children are fully grown.
The Jigzag tour is drawing to a close but we have one more big weekend around Sydney/Blue Mtns/Central Coast to bring the love back to where it all started. We’re also filming this weekend for a 10th Anniversary DVD so if you want to be part of the historical occasion, check out the gig details, warm up your vocal chords & I’ll see you there. Melbourne folks only have to wait a week & I’ll be playing with Fred, or with my new band at The Drunken Poet Nov 21st.
I feel overwhelmed by how great this east coast tour has been, so many memories…
