Join us for a blissful weekend of singing luscious harmonies in an encouraging and friendly environment. Choose from 40 workshops, five concerts and a great range of restaurants, galleries, spa centres, masseurs and two beautiful lakes which are to be found in the historic gold mining town of Daylesford, the heart of Victoria’s spa region.

Singers of all age and skill levels are welcome. This year’s workshops include, song writing (beginners and more experienced), Gregorian chant, vocal technique, vocal percussion, split tone singing, Pacific songs and body percussion, gospel, blokey songs, kids songs for parents and teachers, getting the best out of your choir, song accompaniment, contemporary indigenous songs, Kwela and singing with your ukulele!

The Boîte Singers' Festival at Daylesford offers a great opportunity for choirs to spend a weekend singing and improving their skills. Each year we are joined by several choirs who participate in the daily workshops and perform at the Saturday night choirs’ concert.

Two intensive, full day workshops will be offered on Friday the 12th of January for those one find the weekend isn’t enough. Kristina Olsen will present an intensive song writing workshop and Tony Vaughan will present a workshop in Gregorian chant.

The Festival Youth Program will be lead by Tali White and Phil Melgaard will hone his circus skills taming the children. A crèche will be available, provided that children are booked in before the 15th of December 2006.
